It's quite loud w/ the baffle. It sounds nice and low at idle, but open up the throttle and it can be heard from inside the house.

I knew my wife would be upset if I spent a couple hundred on an exhaust so...I didn't tell her I actually ordered it.
Thought I was being slick by installing it while she was watching TV. Long story short she knew I bought it right after I started it lol.

Well, guess the bike name "Rebel" fits you like a glove! lol!

Could you guys tell me if this particular exhaust won't "burn" the passenger's right foot?
On the picture, it seems that it points to the right peg.

Good question, I haven't had anyone sit in the back since I installed it.
I'll give it a go this weekend and let you know. Since it's angled outwards a bit, I don't foresee it being an issue though.

Thanks in advance.
I'm the one having his kids on the back seat sometimes. It could be an issue with this kind of short exhaust.

Almost every Jap motorbike that I ever owned had a forum where someone showed how to drill a couple of holes in the factory muffler to improve the sound.

Who is going to go first?

Kenny G

*Everyone on the forum frantically looking at eachother* lol!

*Cringe* we'll know the new Rebel is getting old when we start seeing people drilling their baffles.
Well now, people like to do all sort of things to make things "better", one way or another.
So I think we should have a vote on who goes first!

I vote for you 01-7700, since you're the admin here on the Forum, so I feel you should take one for the team! (Or perhaps you haven't gotten an R3 Rebel yet..?)

I find a decent placement, I'll be happy to volunteer, as long as I have the replacement. lol. though I wander if anyone has attempted to remove the baffles in the stock exhaust, or modify it some other way. lol. I know it can't be done, but be interesting to see how it turns out. lol.

**** I'll do it for free lol. This exhaust is girly, hopefully I'll have a video soon because it's either this or a slip on.
