Maybe we need this thread on this forum, so new buyers can know what to expect. I'm buying mine tomorrow, after tax, license, etc and adding an additional 3 yr warranty I'll be at $7194.40 for my 500 ABS. My local credit union hooked me up with 2.49% on the financing. So with that rate, ill finance the whole thing and use my money for add ons!
I paid $12k cash out the door for 2022 Rebel 1100 DCT from Wilson's Powersports in Madera CA last month. They were the 3rd dealership that I tried, first two dealerships raised their price just before the pickup day.

2023 Rebel 500, paid $6250 cash, bought it from a friend who bought it new, put about 1000 miles on it, but at 6'6" was a little too tall and wanted a bigger bike. So it's broken in, still under dealer warranty for the next year, but none of the dealer markups.

May 2023- 2023 500 abs se- $6,949 otd + $417 tax when registered = $7,366
June 2023- 2023 1100 manual- $9,499 + $570 tax when registered = $10,067.

Both from Beaverhead Motorsports in Dillon, MT. Montana is a no sales tax state.

500 was for my wife, after riding it I decided to sell my Fury and buy an 1100 to have something faster and more nimble. Still waiting to pick it up, had some crate damage so dealer has to replace tank and muffler. May see if I can buy the scratched tank from them but not sure if that will be allowed.

A 2023 Rebel 500 Base:

$5995 Closeout sale price
$ 199 Documents
$6194 Out the door

My county and state will tag on 4% excise tax. Annual registration should be $35 or so. A $10 title fee. All are paid at the county courthouse here in South Dakota; not at the dealer.

I anticipate writing a check to my gob'ment for about $290.

So let's say $6485-ish for last year's model.
