Does anyone know when or where I can purchase the saddle bags that come on the new touring 1100? I assume they will fit my 2022 1100 and I like the way they fit and look in the pics I have seen.....Thanks

I replaced Honda's bazooka muffler on my 1100 with the Coffman shorty muffler. I could now use the same size bags on each side. In fact, I ordered and installed Honda's OEM right and left brackets (at about $95 each) and two (2) left side OEM bags (at about $105 each). I used one bag on the right side by switching the locking mechanism on the right bracket. Easy peasy for matching bags!

Viking bags has nice set up and they are close if not bigger than OEM and include relocation hardware kit. For right now the side bags won't work with the 1100T only a modified exhaust. I am sure they are already working on it though. They do have nice rear sissy bar and luggage rack ones though that will work ANY Honda. The side bags has 3 choices a glossy look, leather wrapped or matt finish. The side bags and hardware kit included are less than $500 & the rear bags are less than $150. They have some really nice stuff to add to any rebel. All come with the Viking locking mechanism. If you look at.the site make sure to.scropl to.last pic for each item, there is a nice video presentation for each.

Honestly you're better off going with Viking bags and the nice thing with them is they include all the mounting hardware with the bags. You can get leather wrapped, a glossy black set of hard bags and matte black finish set and they also come with the key on our lockable.
Do the Viking Bags work on the 1100DCT? When I contacted Viking they said they had nothing for the 1100 yet.

Yes I have seen the 1100 dct with them in the rebel 1100 Facebook forum. That's how I discovered viking bags. They produce the for the 500 , the 1 guy who had them on replied to me that Viking bags include the mounting brackets and hardware and that he only had to make a small modification piece to bump the lower bag portion out about 1 inch more.

BTW how does that shorty pipe sound and did you have to re-tune the bike? I was watching videos on that pipe but the sound is always different depending on recording area etc. I like loud - is it LOUD?
