agreed, I'm trying to keep my 1100 as close to stock as possible, but engine and frame guards are protection both for bike and rider and I'd install them, Looking forward to getting part number and order info

I bought mine from a seller on AliExpress Google it and search for "engine guards, honda rebel 1100.
Now here is the game on Ali express, this is China's version of Amazon with many sellers selling the same product and they all charge shipping.
I have seen the engine guards advertised for as low as $40 to as high as $130, and Shipping cost vary as low as $25 to as high as $140 Making the bars cost total between $120 to $160.
Starting right after Thanks giving I would check every couple of days until mid December when a seller offered them with a combined price of less than $100. I've looked for my receipt but must have tossed it after the bars arrived.
You can Search for Daytona Engine Guards for Honda Rebel 1100 on Ebay and they come up at $180, free shipping.

Note that those are all Daytona STYLE crash bars.

Actual Daytona's from Japan are a little more pricey.

I doubt there is much difference besides warranty though.
