Hello all. I was wondering if anyone knows any windscreen that's currently available for the Rebel 500. I was looking at the one for the R-Spec Star Bolt would look really nice if adapted for the rebel... I would paint match it with the yellow tank and it would look killer... what do you think?

If you can do a little modding yourself, this is what I was originally thinking of using.

But now I am likely to just wait for the aftermarket items to become available hopefully in the next 3-6 months/

Hello,

Just a quick question, is there any advantage to the OEM windshield for the Rebel.

I found the wind resistance to be a lot on freeways as compared to a Ninja 300, or is there anything else that can be done to stabilize the motorcycle at high speeds?

That piece is cosmetic only - it might help hide some gadgets that you have mounted on the handlebar. It will not affect the wind much. If you're having trouble with wind, try not to ride too close to big trucks. If cross wind is an issue, try to relax and not fight it. If your head is flopping around too much, be patient, your neck muscles will develop to take care of that soon.

Oh ! so there's no point in getting it then, I like the bare look better.
so I just have to get used to the wind resistance I guess.

There's the OEM Honda one for $229.

Picture of it installed here.
I phoned two honda dealers they both told me that the 2020 or 2021 rebel 500 OEM headlight windscreen you mentioned will not fit earlier Rebel 500 models 2017, 18, 19 due to a completely different head light assembly. Has anyone been able to install the 2020 model headlight windscreen successfully on an earlier model Rebel 500? If yes what did you have to do to install it?
