I’ve been thinking for a long time to have my wheels powder coated in white or maybe just the back one.
Some sports & naked bikes look great with alternatively painted wheels, but I’d want to see a sample first.
Does any one know of a simple IOS or Android app that can change wheel colours from a photo.
I don’t have the patients to learn photoshop.

Twiz,

I think that can be done with PhotoShop.

I would love to have my wheels white.

I have a price for disassembly, bead blasting, new wheel bearings and white powder coat $300.00.

That’s a very reasonable price.
Over here there’s lots of wanna be painters that skimp on the correct processes, I’ll have to research some reviews for powder coaters.

Twizz, what color is your rebel? I can photoshop up a stock photo for you real quick. Or if you want, post a side view of your bike and I'll use that.

Thanks very much JR, can’t wait to see the result.
Not sure if the lighting is adequate on either of these shots or even the resolution to play around with as It’s uploaded from an iPad?

White print/writing on tyres

Has anyone looked at doing white writing on tyres- saw it on another bike and it looked tough ( liked yours Twizzian)

How was it done and with what type of pen/ does it last a while?

I used an oil based tyre pen, looks good after but fades quickly.
Best to find a good quality one, maybe mine was a cheapo

I didn't spend all that much time on it and only did one pic. But here you go. One in white and one in gray to match your paint, just for fun.

Cheers a lot JR
Exactly what I wanted to see.

Both colours look good but the white is still my favourite wheel colour.
A mix may even work, but have to be careful not to reverse the Rebels good looks.
White walls I’ve also considered.

I really prefer the white, but I did a poll on a fb group with both pics, all said grey! :crying:
Not the answer I was hoping for
Twizz, if you like white, THEN DO WHITE!!! It's your bike, dude. Do it your way. And if everyone else would do gray, then all the better. Yours will be even more unique.
