Hi,

I love this motorbike but i have not bought yet.

I would want to know if its possible to add a centre stand to park the motorbike in the garage.
I have a space problem in my garage, because I have a car and a motorcycle, and if i dont use a center stand, i have no space.

Any suggestions? Do you know if its possible to add a centre stand?

Thank you!

Yes, it is possible but not an off-the-shelf bolt-on option yet. You'd have to have one fabricated and welded on or fabricated to bolt on. I saved a center stand from an '85 Nighthawk 650 that I'm going to use on my current project bike. I'm expecting that it's going to require some modification to fit as it might be a little too high and I'll have to flip the bike upside-down to weld some tabs on the frame.

If you are not into welding and such, you either need a fabricator or you buy a bike that does have a centerstand as an option. Note the centerstand on the CB500XA.

I remember seeing another post about the center stand issue, someone was using a car jack to oil their chain. That may help you somewhat.

The only problem is when touring. Taking a jack is not highly practical; a notched board (notch for the swingarm) might be more practical.

This picture shows the CB500XA's centerstand bit better.
