Installed my new bags today (Viking Odin - medium).

Pros:
1. They come with both throw-over and hard mounts (I chose the hard mount).
2. Great looking, sturdy and roomy.
3. Lockable.

Cons:
1. You'll need to buy your own bolts, as the ones provided (3 different sizes) are all too long, and not metric... so they don't fit anyway.
2. You can't not lock them... the key cannot be removed unless the lock is in the locked position. I would prefer that locking them be an option, not a requirement.
3. Not an option to use any of the pre-drilled holes in the bags... it would sit too low on the right side, with the brake being in the way.

Overall, I'm pleased.

On the contrary, I too have Viking bags and was able to use one of the predrilled holes in the bags. However, you then have to use one of the spacers they provide to clear the rear brake.

Otherwise, all the cons you listed hold true for the the Viking warrior medium series. Nonetheless I dont think any are a deal breaker. Great bags overall and highly recommended to anyone

I considered that, but I didn't want to push the bags out too far.. figured it would look odd.

I did use the small spacers, but on the inside of the bag... cuz even though I bought bolts, they didn't have the length I needed.
