No cowling, just the OEM meter visor (wind screen) Plasti Dipped black.

Did you have any issues with the barrel clamp? I installed mine last night too. the barrel clamp seems to not be able to get tight enough where theres no movement at all. I'm not saying is loose by any means, but I can move it a bit if I hold the slip in that area.

I think they recommend repacking every 5000 miles.

Revzilla sells the kit for $17.58.

I have a Vance & Hines on my Blast and that needs repacked every 5000 miles. A Major PITA.

I have a Harley Dyna muffler on my Savage/S40 and that never needs any maintenance.

I am going to wait and see what else turns up for the Rebel

Not sure if it provided any more power, as I ride fairly conservatively.

But yes, I'd definitely recommend it. Being able to clearly hear the bike, as well as the awesome sound it provides, make for a whole new riding experience.

Aside from it sounding pretty darn good, I really just like the way it looks to be honest. I thought any sort of carbon fiber would looks lightly odd on there but with just that tip piece in carbon, it adds a nice subtle touch of style. Love it!
