I'm assuming it's not suppose to do that? I just picked up the bike on Friday - when I put left or right turn signal on, on the HUD - both left and right light up as if hazzards are on. Assuming some kind of wiring issue when they put the bike together maybe?

This is quite normal on bikes. It's a means of cutting cost down, by having left and right display being the same light, instead of separate lights.
So yeah, it might look like as if the hazzards are on, but it's really just to display that you have a blinker on, regardless of right, left, or hazzard.

Yup, 'tis true. There's no need to have a separate light on the instrument cluster for each turn signal.

Yep, both flash on the display regardless of which one you select. It's normal.
