Hey all,

I haven't taken apart the handlebars/risers yet on the bike so hopefully someone who has will have the answer.

Going by the parts diagram for the stock risers, I can see that they use a stud/nut to attach the risers to the triple tree rather than a bolt. Does anyone know if the stud is screwed into the bottom of the riser or is it fixed?

If it's removable I've been thinking of just making some spacers for the base of the risers to make them a bit taller in which case I can use a longer bolt to make up for the extra length. It would be a small fraction of the cost of the H2C risers while still keeping the stock mounting holes for the speedo.
