My Rebel 300 did not come with a manual (it's en route) -- do the 2017 Rebel's come equipped with any sort of steering lock? I was unable to figure it out on my own if there was one.

Yes it does, it's on the right side of the front forks

Fyi you have to push the key in to lock it. Just so you don't try just turning the key after inserting it.

Have you looked under the seat where the tools are, that's where some manuals are located.
