Doesn't look like they have done to much to it yet. All they did was unscrew the rear fender and throw on a universal exhaust. I am curious if they did the seat themselves. I would like a black seat with pleats like that.SteadyGarage picked up a Rebel 500 recently and already started modifying it.
Loving the look already
They also changed the handlebars and removed the front blinkers as well.Doesn't look like they have done to much to it yet. All they did was unscrew the rear fender and throw on a universal exhaust. I am curious if they did the seat themselves. I would like a black seat with pleats like that.
Ahh I see now, they installed clip ons. They also changed the handlebars and removed the front blinkers as well.
Well it is pretty easy since all they did was unhook everything. They took of all turn signals and brake lights and didn't reinstall anything.Removing the rear fender is not as easy as it looks. Everything is integrated back there.
not seeing these pics eithersaw this during Super Sunday last, last weekend and it was cool. They did replace the shocks (i believe) and did have the clip ons which I don't know how well it will work with the pegs being a little forward.
Remember how we discussed this at the other board where everything on the rear typically disappears with the "bobbed it out" mods, see how common of a trend it really is now?Well it is pretty easy since all they did was unhook everything. Yea I don't understand why they didn't put new signals on the bike. I am hoping most riders don't choose to just remove all the lights that keep them safe from the bike.Slap some apehangers on and it would look about the same as the yellow 300 we saw last year.

I love how they moved the battery housing and what I assume to be the rear brake fluid out of sight. Normally you see it peeking out right in front of the rear tire/ behind and below the seat. Its a small thing that makes a big difference to the look of the bike, and is easy to overlook because... you can't see it, so most people dont notice.SteadyGarage picked up a Rebel 500 recently and already started modifying it.
