I have a flat plate/bracket to side mount on my bike, but not mounted yet.So i ordered this and it looks like it will work. Next is the wiring so i can rip the rear fender off.
Its an axle mounted holder. It was perfect. Put a washer on and put the locking nut back in and torque to 69ft lbs.I don't think i would have attached it to the bolt that holds my wheel on.
In Ohio the law does not state it can't but for the most part it's up to the officer but I think id have a case in court.Sweet setup but is it legal to have a mount like that were you live? Although many people do this last I recall in some places its illegal.
Did you get it wired up yet?Its an axle mounted holder. It was perfect. Put a washer on and put the locking nut back in and torque to 69ft lbs.

In my state (PA) you have to get a vertical plate, but it is legal as long as you get it. You can't mount the normal plate sideways. In Ohio the law does not state it can't but for the most part it's up to the officer but I think id have a case in court.
Its done. I ran into some problems with the led and probably needing a resistor so I just wired the old light and going to try and fab it on the plate. I'll take some pics when I get home.Really want to see what this looks like when it's done. Where will the lights be placed?
Uh oh. I bought one of these Chinese STOP lights just like yours. I'm planning on replacing that big ol' rectangle, but keeping it in the same place on the back of the fender. I'll be following this closely to see how your electrical went. Keep us posted on your progress! Its done.
