Loving my bike, but not loving the seat. About 30 minutes is all I can do at a time. I've rode 300 miles on it in 5 days, but I'd hate to try a long ride on that seat. Maybe I just have rookie butt, but it's enough to cause me to buy a sheepskin cover online. It will be here in about 4 days...

If someone made a good aftermarket option, I'd be a happy buyer!

I do like how the bike handles bumps. I drove my car on the same route I took my bike and noticed it was a lot more bumpy in my car. Anyway, I think the seat is comfortable, but for really long distances, I suppose I would prefer a different pad for my rear end, but I'm young (22) and probably too naive to do anything about it.

I am not sure if it is my seat or my ass but I definitely get uncomfy after a while, I had a KTM Duke and that seat wasn't great but seemed comfier...

Custom seats are quite expensive so am thinking of a gel pad to help, also I have been looking at foot pegs for down pipes in the hope that stretching my not so long legs out will also help as it only seems like the right side butt cheek that gets the problem!

There are some bits on here if anyone else is looking for stuff... Cruiser Seats & Sissy Bars | MotoSport

Here's what we're doing. Surprisingly, an OEM seat from the dealer is only around $50. We got one delivered over the weekend. Next, we'll add a layer of memory foam or gel and fancy up the vinyl a bit. I might try to do it myself. If that doesn't work, we'll take it to an upholsterer.
Keep us posted on what its like breaking that seat in. Do you at least plan to put on a lot of miles while you break it in?

When I first started riding the bike I didn't like the seat much either, after a while it started to hurt a little here and there.
But now, 2300 miles later, I don't notise anything anymore.
So I dunno, maybe my butt has become a rock, but at least I'm not complaining anymore :)

I bought a gel pad for my seat. I was looking at the Airhawk but I found that a little expensive so I tought I give this Tourtecs a try as it was half the price.. Time (and a long tour) will tell, but so far it's good. I was on the bike today for an hour+ and no sore butt.. Will see on my Eu tour at July/August

I'd love to know how comfortable this pad is, and where you bought it. Also love your side bags. Where did you get them?
