Hello folks my names Josh and I Fckn love my 17' Honda Rebel 500.

I've been riding motocross for awhile now and I know how to take care of my bikes!!

It it worth the extended warranty for 1150$ for 4 years?
It only cover Mechanical breakdowns.
I mean the bike is only like 6200 or something like.

In my mind its not worth it.. please tell me your opinion.

how many miles will this this run?

I agree with you it is not worth $1150.00, and if you take care of the routine maintenance a Honda will last a lot longer than 4 years. Guys are still paying a good price for the old Rebels as far back as the 1986 models.

I always regard extra warranties as a con and to be avoided, be it kitchen stuff or bikes. Things are so much more reliable these days. But that's just my opinion.

I definitely wouldn't go for that warranty at that price. You're paying 1/5-1/6 the new price on just a 4 year warranty. Even car warranties aren't usually that much. Anything that'd break in the next 4 years you could likely get fixed for far cheaper than $1k. And if you're not going to neglect the maintenance on it I can't imagine anything that major will break on it's own.
