pictures of the Honda OEM nylon bags...had them on my 2019 500 and briefly on my 1100

didn't really like the mismatched size of bags needed for exhaust clearance

you can go with small bags on both sides if you want a balanced look...see following post for small bags mounted on both sides of an 1100.

I put TSA locks on the bags

the Honda nylon bags were a short lived install...went through several hard bag variations eventually settling on the Viking Hard bags (search my posts for that install)

Hi there, your solution with the same sized bags on both sides is the one that I have been looking for. However I have read from somewhere that the right (exhaust side) bag doesn't fit the standard rack for the left (chain) side. May I ask what you did to make it work? Cheers

swap the spools so the spool for the latch lever is on the back

Thanks for sharing. Actually being able to see the 14L and the 10L in the same picture is helpful. I thought it might've looked kind of cool being asymmetrical but it actually looks pretty sill, in my opinion. Thanks for the info

That's why I moved on to hard bags....Viking bags.

For those with 1100's if you can wait a while Honda is rumored to be releasing a tourer model soon....could have hard bags and be available as an accessory for the non-tourer models

Anyone run these bags left or right side only that could post pics ? Thinking of running just one bag but not sure how silly that would look.

Does anyone know if the OEM bags for the 1100 and 500 are the same? I get the brackets might be different, but are the bags the same?
