Hello Gentlemen and ladies,

I am going to be purchasing a Rebel 500 with the abs when ever NoCal gets their hands on them. I've called every dealership about 200 miles away from me and no one has it. I ask the Dealership when their next shipment is and they can't tell me the exact dates, so for now i will be waiting until the local dealers get them. Is there any one else having the same problem as i am?

Yes! I put a deposit on my 500 ABS at the end of April. It was expected end of May/early June and it wasn't until last Friday they finally found out it would be shipping on the 13th of this month.. So I am still about 2 weeks away.

Where do you live at, and if it's here in NoCal what dealership are you getting it at?

I live in Sacramento and just picked up my Rebel 300A recently. At the dealership, NorCal Motorsports, that I got it from there was a Rebel 500 but can't tell you if it was a 500A or not. If you haven't checked them out you can give em a call or e-mail and they respond pretty quickly.

I am quite a ways away in Illinois but there aren't any ABS models in my area either. The closest dealers (within 60 miles) all said they weren't even going to order an ABS because they didn't think people in the area were interested. Although these nice sunny days are making me very impatient I decided to order and wait as the Rebel 500 has everything I want in a bike.

I looked on cycletrader.com and one did pop up about 1.5 hours away and if the dealer didn't have a ship date for me I probably would have went down and get it. Keep your eyes open! You can also call Honda Powersports customer service. They can get in touch with a distributor and give you a rough estimate of when a dealer can expect them.

Congrats on the new bike! I called all the dealership with In 200 miles. Yuba city and hollister said they had one on cycletrader but when I called they said they been trying to update it for a while because they where sold!
