While doing a quick inspection before riding I noticed my rear brake light switch is out of adjustment. I can pull on the spring and the brake light will light, but pressing down on the brake pedal does not activate the brake light.

Has anyone had to adjust their rear brake light switch and how did you do it?

This working without a service manual is a pure PITA.

Kenny, I have not had that issue yet, but will double check today before I ride.

Does anyone have access to a service manual, or are there any online yet for purchase somewhere? I guess it's time for me to start searching the net for a manual.

I've adjusted it, as I needed to adjust the brake pedal all the way down.
On the inside of the pedal, where the spring is fastened, at the back where the spring is fastened there is a black plastic pice, wich is the sensor itself.. It has a large plastic nut at the back of it, you'll need to adjust this to change it's lenght, and thus changing when it engages the light when braking. You've gotta adjust a little, try it, adjust some more, etc, to find the "sweet spot" for it. Easy job, done in 2 min tops.
