This is what I did. Had to cut up the old tail light harness in order to keep the connectors. Also had to modify the fender supports in order to hold the blinker stems. Overall it was a fun mod!
Nosinut - I've been looking at the same setup. Can you give some detail regarding what you had to do as far as cutting up the tail light / modifying fender supports?

For me the main challenge was finding parts I liked as I decided to use a road legal light which reduced my choices a lot.
The only other challenge was fabricating the bracket which was made easier by using aluminium rather than steel.

The one part I didnt like was that I had to cut the wires to the lamp as they are fixed and not on connectors.

I have now also coloured the bracket black and am very happy with it.

I cut the harness so that I could still use the OEM connectors that go under the seat. As far as modifying the fender supports goes, it's not for the squeamish, haha. I drilled out the threads in order to fit the stem through. Then I ground down the backside of the support in order to be able to catch a nut on the stem. I also has to drill some holes and put grommets in them in order to run the harness between the fender and support. Hope that helps!

Hi,

I want to use the same back light and 2 bullet signal lights. Can you take some daylight photos from the side and back to see where you put them exactly?

Thanks!
