Nosinut - I've been looking at the same setup. Can you give some detail regarding what you had to do as far as cutting up the tail light / modifying fender supports? This is what I did. Had to cut up the old tail light harness in order to keep the connectors. Also had to modify the fender supports in order to hold the blinker stems. Overall it was a fun mod!
I cut the harness so that I could still use the OEM connectors that go under the seat. As far as modifying the fender supports goes, it's not for the squeamish, haha. I drilled out the threads in order to fit the stem through. Then I ground down the backside of the support in order to be able to catch a nut on the stem. I also has to drill some holes and put grommets in them in order to run the harness between the fender and support. Hope that helps!Nosinut - I've been looking at the same setup. How exactly do you power these if there is no cutting or splicing? Can you elaborate on plug and play? Are you saying that it has wires long enough to replace the factory wires and plugs right into the harness under the seat?Plug and play tail light and indicators, no cutting or splicing required.
