HRPMotors posted online that they will have this seat available soon.
I am real interested in how it would look on the bike, and I would like a matching diamond pattern passenger seat for it.

Though the one reason I am currently hesitant is I still have not received my first order from HRP and tracking is still not working. I will update this once that is resolved.

But I know a lot of people were looking for a new seat.

Do you know if this is a direct replacement? Looks like the metal support piece behind the stock seat might be in the way with the way this seat is designed. Keep us posted. Like to see someone buy it and do a quick review on how it installs and comfort.

By looking at it , it actually looks like the seat covers that metal support. Will have to wait for more pics to be sure, but it is listed as a direct replacement.

Yes, I very much like the look of this compared to the one I have now. Would like to see it on a bike first before buying it, though.

I'm in same boat. Be interesting to see what others will do with their bikes to make it their own/customization, etc. I figure in about a year everyone be making the little changes to their rebel's. Gonna be interesting to see. lol. Other than the few oem accessories I got, I don't plan on doing any heavy modifications. These rebels have lots of potential, but I'm not sure how far I want to get into it. Few years I may want something different or higher up from the 300cc.

Seat

Just had my seat re-upholstered & an extra 1" thickness.
The material is like a suede effect fabric but not sure if it's waterproof yet. Not tested
I'm hoping it will make a difference in comfort & ride height as I'm 190cm with long legs.

It took just one hour at the seat shop. Chuffed"

Yea I am a bit sad to be honest. I keep seeing in Thailand shops do those seats in like an hour for under 100 bucks. There is just nothing really like that in the US.
I found someone to make me a new cover and padding but I would have to send my current one in. And I really don't want to be without it.

That does look awesome. lol. too bad no one where I live does that sorta thing. I been checking out online, and even if I bought a seat cover, their all universal and would take some jimmy rigging to make it fit properly.

Yeah I think best left to the experts. We could probably do it as novices, and it would take all day.
Doing any fancy stitching wouldn't be easy and you'd need a gutsy stapler to punch into the plastic.

Around $23. It would have been about $9 anywhere else but I went to a shop who have a high reputation throughout the country, and on a lot of custom bikes.
That wouldn't be $9 anywhere in this country. Unless you mean for them to bolt the seat onto the bike, that might be $9. Even $23 seems like a steal and it looks fantastic. Have them post their services on the forum!!

For sure they will make a seat and maybe even several -plus other things are possible. I personally am hoping for a smuggler seat. The only bad thing with corbin is they tend to be a bit pricey but they are very well made in the USA.
