Got a dent on my fuel tank and I'm about to order a new one, has anyone does this on here? is it pretty easy to remove the pump and everything from the old tank and install it in the new tank? any help would be great. Also if you recommend just buying extras of any parts or anything that would be a great help. thank you everyone!
there's other sections of the service manual that talk about checking your fuel tank pressure and that it should be operating at 50psi and what not, all that stuff scares me a little that ill try to put it together and it wont work properly because I'm missing some special tool. that section does make it seem simple though, I guess I'll just have to try it out and see what happens.
Whats the dent look like? Is the metal creased or the paint cracked? If it's not too bad a PDR guy could probably fix it pretty quick.
