From reading a few reviews and talking to some of the reviewers, as well as talking to a few dealerships, it appears as though the USA, Canada, and UK will have very limited accessories available.

So here is the details. The bike starts shipping on monday of next week. And apparently dealers will get almost none of the accessories that the thailand release got. And the accessories they will likely be able to get are very limited and nothing super exciting.

So far the list I have seen that will likely be available to order at launch is as follows.

1. 12v outlet
2. Clear Windshield ( Which seems to be outrageously price at over $300 dollars for a tiny piece of plexi glass.)
3. Rear Seat kit (Includes seat and pegs)
4. Saddle bags (estimate $300)
5. Saddle bag mount (estimated $240)
6. Rear rack ( For a crazy $400+)

Missing seems to be any of the accessories aimed at changing the way the bike looks.
1. Headlight Grill Cover
2. Straight handlebars
3. Handle bar risers.
4. Tank Pads
5. modified fenders
6. floor boars
7. engine guard.
8. fork tubes and for gaiters.
9. H2C grips
10. Side covers and engine cover
11. For stabelizer.

It is a bit annoying, they should have started selling these accessories before the bike release to get people excited and ready for when they get their rebel. To be honest it kind of dampens this whole experience for me if this stuff isn't release soon or ever being they marketed this bike as "you don't buy this bike, you make it your own" And seem to have no accessories available to do so. I am hoping something changes and the release available accessories soon, but according to the review from the UK they will only have a few accessories at launch and nothing to actually change the bikes looks.

I might end up trying to find a thailand dealer that will ship to USA.

A lot of The Thailand accessories you see are most assuredly not Honda accessories. And lots of universal parts will fit. The body parts I've seen are either one-offs or simply an aftermarket production. Those types of things don't strike me as a Honda Accesory anyway.

A headlight grill is easy to find and fit today. Lots of choices and I've seen these "generics" on some of those bikes.

The handlebar is 1", so Harley bars will fit, same for grips.

When I first got my PCX, I was astonished at the aftermarket. Honda has almost nothing and what they do have is at a premium. I even have an H2C tinted half windshield and I think it was $80 vs $300 for Honda. Honda has a total of 5 accessories for this scooter that's been around years and years.

If these sell in any numbers, the aftermarket will fill all of your dreams.

Every part I listed is a Honda genuine accessory.
And you cant actually put the other headlight grills on the Rebel. The Rebels headlight mounts via an aluminum mount ring that holds it up from the bottom. The grills available for other bikes or the universal ones will not fit over the rebels mounting bar.

The only thing I think I might want fairly soon is the small windshield/windscreen, though I'd prefer it to be smoked/tinted (though I could do that myself).

I'll not be paying $300 for it, though, so I'll happily pay some Chinese company to sell me one for a fraction of the cost. :D

Yea I will be doing the same if that is the price they charge for a tiny piece of plexi.

Vinyl wrap and plasti-dip are also good options for other colors. From what I've seen, the windshield isn't really large enough that you'd need to be able to see through it.
Or you could just use window tint as they make it in every color if you want it to be translucent.

I aggree you probably wouldn't be looking through it to often.

Honda just listed the Rebel(250 and 500) in the Japanese lineup. This means even more parts both from Honda and aftermarket. So far the only accessories show are already known but the Japanese brands are famous for having accessories only available for the home market. There are also numerous aftermarket parts makers in Japan so parts will show up there too. Now we just have to wait.
