I love the mate grey on my 500. AND I have never had a mate finish anything.
What is the best way to take care of the finish for the long term?
Dusting off? Dry wipe down? Wet washing?
I know to not ever use wax or a wash for gloss paint.
Many thanks.

I use microfiber cloths with a very diluted mild soap like Joy using light pressure while avoiding circular motion as much as possible. Rinse immediately and dry with microfiber. No problems so far. I know that there's stuff out there that purports to be the only thing you should use on matte paint but I haven't found the need and the finish looks fine.

The tough stuff like tar etc. is not something that I have had to deal with yet, so you may want to research that. Smashed bugs are not a big deal.

I have read that dish soap is not good for matte paint. I don't know.
Looking s specific matte washing, cleaing stuff from Chemical Guys and Dr Beasley does anyone have experience using them. What is the Matte Sealer for? Is the paint on my 500 safe in the long term without using one of the sealers?
Sorry for the continuing questions but this is my first matte anything and I want to take good care of it.
