Shadow Shack here, I've been riding for almost 20 years now and have owned a dozen or so bikes in that time, predominantly (as the name suggests) Honda Shadows. The other bike I'm most familiar with is the 250 Rebel. I foresee earning the title of "hater", maybe some of you will see reason behind the rhyme (I already divulged it in the "Haters" thread, of which I see one previous poster mentioned a similar remark), I'll just divulge from the get-go that I say what I think and do so respectfully.

I personally love the look and style of this new Rebel, regardless of its relation to its predecessor.

Well here's the thing, anyone that's visited the original Rebel board may have seen the thread I started when these new models were announced. Suffice it to say it wasn't a big hit, and I voiced my opinion often enough to ensure there was some fuel on that fire.

All being fair, I felt it was honorable to at least let the other side of the isle offer their counterpoints.

It would be fair. But you don't do that. You just insert banter anytime anyone explains what they like about the bike, or the reason something on the bike was made a specific way. Instead of letting others offer counterpoints, you have literally turned into a troll.
