I was originally shopping for my Rebel 500's bags, and suddenly, this seat caught my attention.

The product they, SteadyGarage.com, are selling is a side saddlebag, however
I'm interested in this seat.

Can anyone tell this seat's manufacture and model?

I previously thought about the Corbin seat, but it seemed too big and
passenger area seemed uncomfortable.

Thank you for your time.

I had one of the seats as shown in your picture and had to send it back. The description was grossly exaggerated and PayPal made them refund my money including the freight. There is only 1/2" of foam at the thickest area and it is not leather it is vinyl and it is too slippery to sit on when cornering.

Good Luck

Was it one from eBay?
I bought it from a bunch of merchants in Israel, but it is the exact seat shipped directly from the same manufacturer in Thailand.

It was quite the disappointment. It was shipped without a bracket and i was unable to coerce either the manufacturer or the merchant into sending me a bracket so I fabricated a bracket. The seat is really good looking, but it is like riding on a piece of 2x8 lumber. The vinyl is so slippery I decided it was a safety issue.

You may think the Honda factory seat is uncomfortable, but the custom seat is worse.

I am thankful for PayPal as they were able to get all of my money returned to me including the freight charge.

Try a local upholstery shop as they are usually inexpensive compared to s custom seat.

@Kenny that's interesting. I'm going to drop them a line and ask about parts & shipping. The fact that they're in Israel is actually convenient, as it'll be easier for me to get parts shipped without customs and duty.

However, knowing my countrymen, I'm guessing they simply import stuff from Thailand and sell it for a profit here, or, ship it to wherever directly from Thailand.

They do have another seat which looks a lot more comfortable, but I'm gonna pay a visit to a local upholster next week, as I think having it modified by a craftsman is better than buying something of unknown quality.

I hope to have pics of new seat by end of next week

@KennyG I finally visited the company you bought the seat from. Crappy feeling, not enough support and cushioning, and too much money for a piece of vinyl and wood. They do import it from somewhere and I'm sorry to say I left them feeling underwhelmed.

Will try to make time to visit a proper upholster and post my findings

Zohararad,

There is one short detractor that may disagree with us, but great minds think alike.
