The oil in this video is not correct. Manual for 1100 page 94 and on 165 states 10w-30 How did He not catch his mistake? He used a filter that says if correct to use but the part number is not XL10A at Honda the part number is 15410-MF-D02. The transmission filter number is 15412-MGS-D21

Honda charged me 8.96 for transmission filter and 16.58 for the oil filter. Oil was 24.85 for gallon and 6.99 for a quart of 10-30 O-ring 91302-PA9-003 for 3.37 total 60.75 plus tax.
I believe he used the correct Oil from Honda (PRO Honda GN4-4-stroke) is correct or SAE 10W-30, He also correctly called out the Clutch Filter DCT only ( Ref. Honda Service Manual 3-14.) or called Element oi; filter. Thanks for correcting the part numbers, it help everyone.

You are wrong. Did you watch the video and see the 10-40 container. GN4 oil comes in different weights. 10-30w is the correct weight. 10-40w is not. He did not use the correct oil from Honda.
My apologies, I stand corrected, I saw GN4 4 stroke and missed the 10W-40SJ. 😊

Other information:
Three main options per manual:
JASO T 903 standard *1: MA
SAE standard *2: 10W-30
API classification *3: SG or higher Includes SJ

*1. The JASO T 903 standard is an index for engine oils for 4-stroke motorcycle engines. There are two classes: MA and MB. For example, the following label shows the MA classification.
*2. The SAE standard grades oils by their viscosity.
*3. The API classification specifies the quality and performance rating of engine oils. Use SG or higher oils, excluding oils marked as “Energy
Conserving” or “Resource Conserving” on the circular API service symbol.
