Hey guys,

First time bike owner and rider, recently picked up a 500 Rebel.

I have a quick question for those that financed it through Honda Finance, do they send you a mail regarding payment method to setup the online payment?

It's my first bike and I was too excited to get on riding, so I forgot to ask them about this.

all that stuff you should of gotten from the finance specialist you were dealing with. Hope you got a decent interest rate. lol. I asked cause I was curious about financing. yup, 7.9% interest. Ya no thanks, at the end of term, for the money I would spend, you could buy to bikes. **** with that. I had the money saved, and paid cash for my bike.

Unfortunately, if you pay by cash up front, they charge you more for administration fees. My bike was $4700 even on the floor, and it was $5600 out the door all said and done. And I don't know what the **** the admin fees intail, they didn't explain it. All they did was fill out the form for the bill of sale, signed it, had me sign it, then I left with the bike. Amazing how the dealers get you with little effort. lol. Paid more in admin fee's than taxes. Stupid.

My interest rate was 6%, I'm just saying how can I get automatic online payment setup. Do I wait for them to send me a mail with my account information or etc

That's likely only the case if the financing is through the dealership. Otherwise, an initial bill will probably be mailed from the bank handling the loan, then automatic payments could be set up.

Honda had a special rate here in Canada - 0.9% for 24 months, 1.9% for 36 months. Mind you we probably pay more for the bikes to begin with... then the taxes.

My rebel is my second time with Honda financing. I forget the exact website but google honda financial. When you go to register/login just hit register. It'll have you put some info and then it asks for your loan number or account number. It should be on your financing sheet from the dealer. If not, it will be on your bill. If you didn't get your first bill yet, you can just call the number on the site. Didn't have my paperwork with me and I called a few days ago to set it up so I can see both financing accounts on my homepage. They had me confirm my info and vin and I was set up in a few minutes. I don't do auto payments but I think you can set that up online with your account once you have a log on.
