Hello Rebel Riders With A Cause

'tis himself Kenny G

Picked up my new 2017 Rebel 500 today and rode 30 miles without incident. I have yet to find the petcock for reserve on the gas tank, I am guessing one must rely on the digital fuel gauge. Having wanted mid controls for the past few years I now have them, but my hips are rebelling from the low seat and the high pegs. First manufacturer with a taller seat or forward controls will have an order. The bike is very smooth at 60 MPH although there is some buzz in the hand grips.

I think it will be a good low maintenance motorbike.

I have christened it "The Ugly Ducklin' "

Kenny G

Welcome and enjoy that ride. Just left Canada on Monday, was up there for a Jazz Festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Beautiful country up that way!

Hey guys, new rider here...my first bike that isn't a sport bike or a dirt bike...and I LOVE it! Can't wait until aftermarket parts become available so I can start modding this beauty.

I'm in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and would love to meet other riders :)
I live in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Small world. lol. I got the Rebel 300 non-abs
