Hello Rebel Riders With A Cause

Picked up my new 2017 Rebel 500 today and rode 30 miles without incident. I have yet to find the petcock for reserve on the gas tank, I am guessing one must rely on the digital fuel gauge. Having wanted mid controls for the past few years I now have them, but my hips are rebelling from the low seat and the high pegs. First manufacturer with a taller seat or forward controls will have an order. The bike is very smooth at 60 MPH although there is some buzz in the hand grips.

I think it will be a good low maintenance motorbike.

I have christened it "The Ugly Ducklin' "
