I just put a deposit down for 500 ABS, will be getting it on Saturday :)

The dealership is charging me 100$ an hour for service, for installing the passenger seat.
How hard is it to do it on your own? should I just buy the passenger seat and foot pegs and put it on my self? any advice is appreciated.

Well, the pegs were a pain in the ass to be honest.

I did it, I know a few other members did it - but it was a pain in the ass. Worth 50 bucks for them to do it? yeah. 100 bucks? Mmm, how much is a 100 worth to you? ;)

I would've paid to have someone do it to be honest. Not 100 bucks though.

I don't think it is worth 50 bucks. It took me 20 minutes and was pretty easy.

Excuse-me, but what is difficult?
2 allen screws for the left peg, 1 nut for the right peg, and 1 allen screw for the seat.

Maybe because it was factory installed and I first unmounted before mounting again?
Yea that isn't how it comes.
The entire peg is unassembled. You have to press a ball bearing and shim into the metal bracket along with the peg before you bolt it on. All you did was unscrew an assembled piece.

I get it.
Sorry for the confusion...
(Thanks Honda France)
Lol you are not far off really though. The only hard part is getting the shim/spring/ball pressed into eachother. It isn't hard, but it is a bit annoying and you will likely have the ball pop out a few times before you get it right. But even with that still only about a 20 minute install do yourself.
