After lots of research I decided to buy a Rebel 500 and I take delivery next week.
The local (Thai) dealer is fitting a few accessories (which seem to vary from country to country) and I'm looking forward to taking the bike
on its first weekend cruise.
Being in Thailand, it has to be ridden immediately after purchase, to the nearest Temple and, along with the rider (me), be blessed by a resident Monk.
That's a sort of insurance policy, keeping in mind that riding/driving in Thailand is one of the most dangerous pastimes imaginable. :surprise:
I've been following a couple of threads here already; like 'where are the tools?' and I'm looking forward to learning and sharing more on this site.
Be safe out there.
