I bought these risers and now I have a lot of forward and backwards movement in handlebars.

I've heard I can replace the bushings with metal washers to stop the movement.

My question is what size washers works I need?
I did some research and it seems 12mm I think but was wondering if anyone did this do their bike?
I have a 18 rebel 300.

I don't mind the movement to much but think it's a bit excessive and should be tighter.

I looked at chimera metal ones but not sure if they will work and there are different sizes.

Any help is appreciated

Thanks

make sure the acorn nuts on the lower handlebar holder under the top bridge are snug...if handlebars still move too much use 8mm washers between the nut and rubber bushing to get a tighter fit

So I replaced the rubber bushings with metal washers. One on each side was enough and now the handlebars are completely tight with no forward/backwards movement at all.

Someone posted to get 8mm size washers but they were too small. 10mm I believe was the next size up and they worked.

I was worried that I might get vibration issues without the rubber bushing but I don't notice much difference in vibration in my hands.

The left mirror does vibrates a tiny bit but not enough to be a problem to me.

Happy riding everyone!
