What headlight did you buy to fit into the stock housing
Any 5 3/4 headlight should fit in the housing.

1. Dissemble entire headlight fixture.
2. Use only the largest round bracket.
3. Place new light in bracket.
4. Mark where the holes should be.
5. Drill and tap holes.
6. Locktite, machine screws, washers
7. Reassemble.
8. Plug it in and your done.

It's not that simple but it's an easy way to explain it. I would rate it a 3/3 on Revzillas beardscale of difficulty.

Here's the light I used. I love the modern look of it and the black background.

Are you getting the dreaded "v" pattern of the LEDs or is it coming out brighter and further than the stock light?

Light looks great!

Thank you Joshua for posting this. Your headlight looks great and I like it a lot.
Just want to make sure; is the headlight lens is glass not plexiglass or similar material right?

Will definitely order one for my Rebel the moment I hear back from you.

Hmmm, I've messaged him for help but no response yet....

Let's see if anyone else might be able to assist.

1. What does it mean by the only largest bracket?
2. Where would I use Locktite.
3. For machine screw and washer, does it go outside the casing or inside?

I actually ordered the light, I want to see what the challenge is but knowing some info upfront would defintiely be helpful.
