I am pretty sure he is just ordering them from thailand , shipping them to his shop then reshipping it out. That would be why there is a price difference. But currently this is our only option. For example, the front light cover is sold 2005 bahts in Thailand.
It is equivalent to 58$.
The above seller sells it for 90$
Yea the shipping seems a bit insane. The headlight grill is listed for $89. then $40 shipping for me. I would assume actual shipping cost is half that.I wanted the headlight grill but 80$ + 50$ of shipping... it begins to be too much
I was looking at some z drag bars are you ordering those risers to bring them closer also? will they bring them 2 inches closer?I ordered the handle bar riser because i am installing drag bars. If i actually get the part without issue im going to order the headlight grill and engine guard.

Closer doesn't matter to me. I am ordering them just to raise the drag bar slightly so it isn't interfearing with anything else. It looks like they only move them about an inch forward.I was looking at some z drag bars are you ordering those risers to bring them closer also? will they bring them 2 inches closer?
Let me know how the risers work - I am very interested (actually really need) to cut the distance to the handle bars shorter (short arms :wink2I ordered the handle bar riser because i am installing drag bars. Why not just turn the handle bars inward?Let me know how the risers work - I am very interested (actually really need) to cut the distance to the handle bars shorter (short arms :wink2![]()
Yes, this will be my first step when I get it in for the 600 miles service. For now, I turned the brake and clutch in a bit to ease reach for my small handsWhy not just turn the handle bars inward?
I read about the shops there that redo the bike seats and can add more cushion and reshape them quite cheaply. And the ton of parts in Thailand makes me a bit jealous.I live in Thailand and already there are so many aftermarket parts and custom shops to choose from. I have already planned to add accessories and customise my Rebel. There are some fantastic looking achievements here, the Thai's are very good at crafts.
I'm gonna hold back for a few months as more and more aftermarket parts are manufactured & probably cheaper than the Honda endorsed H2C stuff. I don't want to spend a load of dosh then suddenly see an OMG" wish I waited for that.
The H2C Accessories are available at all the Honda Bigwing stores, but I'm sure there will be a ton of stuff coming soon to the US.
We are fortunate to be able to get these bikes on sale here more or less first, and at a cheaper price than the Uk or US and ABS as standard, However; the rebel is now getting on short supply in Thailand as I think the shipping is now concentrated on the US and Europe. There is now a 2 month waiting in Thailand for both 300/500 unless your willing to travel perhaps hundreds of miles to get that odd red/black, grey one your looking for at some of the smaller Honda franchise dealers.
Yes there is a lot of Chinese knock offs and poor quality items from China, but you have to take your time to source from trusted businesses and read plenty of reviews & feedback before buying the items you want.I read about the shops there that redo the bike seats and can add more cushion and reshape them quite cheaply. But I am noticing a lot of places are selling chinese parts and putting their own name one them and charging a ton more. K-speed is one of those companies. Which is quite sad because some of their builds looked nice.
