I've been riding a scooter (Honda PCX 150) for a couple of years when I decided to finally upgrade to a real motorcycle. Got the Rebel 250 and loved it, but grew out of it within 6 months. We live in the Bay Area in CA and are so fortunate to have beautiful back roads and twisties 10 minutes away from our house. My husband and I ride our bikes any time we have a chance.

I got my Rebel 500A last Saturday and already clocked 300 miles on it :smile2:

Congrats! I see you have the wind screen on yours, how do you like it? Does it do anything other than appearance?

Congrats and welcome. We have a lot in common. I upgraded from a PCX150 to the 500 ABS as well. And lived in the Bay for 44 years until last november when I relocated to San Diego. The riding season is longer here:grin2:

Yes, let us know how the windscreen is. I ordered one and hoping it does something lol

Congrats on the new bike. Yeah, that windscreen is so tiny, I don't think it'll do anything to buffeting but it looks good. We created an FB page for Honda Rebel riders... it says So Cal but everyone is welcome.

I think that some third-party accessory companies will be shortly offering some wind screen options that are a little bigger. Fingers crossed.

My wishlist for mods:

• 
  New solo seat is a must. This seat is the most uncomfortable, rigid, tough piece of vinyl I ever sat on!

• Would love me some heated grips

• Considering the color scheme here - black is nice but a bit boring. Maybe a red or brown leather on the seat and grips - what do you guys think?

• Would love to replace the triangle plates on the sides on the motorcycle with a color that will match the new seat I'll get

I tried to contact a few seat makers and see if they will make a seat for the rebel 500 but haven't heard back yet
