The fork covers are a very good add.
Keeps the bugs off the tubes where when the bugs dry they can mess up the fork seals.

All retrofits need to be improved before installation.
The front fork covers need 1.5mm rubber pads.
Fork mounted wind reflectors need to replace longer screws (5mm)
Windshield needs to be cut by myself. Then paint.
The installation hole of foot pegs needs to be expanded by about 0.2mm

Did the windshield need to be heat-gunned to reshape it in any way in order to make it fit the curve for the mounting bracket and batwing?

The green part is filed off by 2mm.
The red arrow position is the gap filling strip.

I might try that windshield but mount it lower for no gap, instead of my stubby harley one which i had to bend and trim to fit to the batwing.

Have ordered these, not that familiar with this aliexpress but hopefully shouldn't be a problem.. After get these and my oval black mirrors will probably be the end of Mods for me for quite a while anyway .. Learned from my Victory's owned that these fork covers can be a life saver on your seals all you have to do is look at how much Bug Guts you wipe off the Covers ..
