I did the same how did you mount the stock exhaust? I honestly think stock exhaust when it's truly bobbed looks kinda strange, your next project should be get rid of that!

yea, ha the exhaust definitely needs to go. Just need to find one that is not too clunky or too loud to replace it! Here's a photo with side plate mount (before plate was put on) and makeshift exhaust bracket.

I was Enquiring about a rear splash guard the other day, they didn't make one but showed me this Fender.
It's quite short but nice design.
They ship overseas too.

Interesting, but I'd have to have that short fender that Twiz showed us. I don't like wet on my back :) Looks good though.

Got caught in a downpour yesterday.
I think I cannot go out riding again with the my short fender on until the monsoons are finished.
My wife was in shock when I got home & saw the 6ft dirty brown stripe dripping off me as I trugged past her. :frown2:

Ha yea, well it doesn't rain much here in Southern California, so I figured it's a good temp solution
Well ofc, if you're lucky that way with little too no rain, then by all means, I would too get a shorter fender on it!
I would not remove it totaly thou..

I feel bad for you man.
But at the same time.. I kinda don't 0:) You've brought it upon yourself :p
I would seriously have loved to get a shorter fender on it, but it's just not worth it. Not here where every other day is a rainy one, just not worth the hassle and bother with it...
