I have the 500s model. Decided I wanted a windscreen. Removed the cowl fairing and discovered the poor headlight lens/casing's alignment. There are no adjustments as the screws are recessed and the screw holes cannot be adjusted. Without the fairing, water would ingress the headlight casing during rainy days. As bikers' would say, 'if water can get in, it will get in'. I showed the image to my (supposedly reputable) dealer. I was told that a) I should not run the bike without the fairing and b) as Honda do not make a windscreen for this model then a windscreen should not be fitted! So much for a modifiable 'naked' bike. Told him that he should tell his customers that they cannot have a windscreen.

Can you believe this guy? The bike is still under warranty. Don't if I'm going to get anywhere with this :(

Do you have pictures of the screw holes you’re talking about?
There is one screw hole showing in this link:

But I've now refitted the cowl fairing and going to leave it . Just hope the rain doesn't get in, although I never ride in the rain, but I could get caught out in a shower.
