The slip ons are fine, but you will need to make an elbow for most of them to look right on the bike. You can buy a 45 degree elbow at an autoparts store and then just mod it to fit in between like I did.

But I need to add, with an elbow in place most of those exhaust would be massive on this bike. My slip on is 16".

Those are all universals, so as Shorty says you'll need to get/ make a mid pipe to make it fit. Then don't expect a bunch of sweet tones from them cause the are mostly a hollow pipe.
some of them look like they have an elbow already, but hard to say. most pics are just general. and if their hollow, then may as well go without a pipe at all. lol. don't want to do that, I'd like to have something with baffles in it. lol.

I've been back and forth w/ Gary Coffman from Coffman exhausts.
I've ordered their shorty for the Rebel 300, and they come w/ a baffle and looks like it's made w/ a small elbow.
Will post a video when it's installed for anyone interested. at $200 it seems like a decent in between a cheap $50 china can and a $450 TBR.

please let us know. that shorty is basically what I am looking for and if it does have baffles, all the better. thanks for inquiring with Coffman.

Love that bit of raspyness the Diablo has going on which where I live sounds even better, nothing like ripping it down some quiet downtown street with tall buildings that this sound will echo off of. Not nearly as cool much further out!

I have the Maverick Crushers on my Indian Scout and I tell you they sound
marvelous!

Think of keeping the exhaust on the Rebel stock for now. Find it more pleasant to ride
around town.
