Engines and oils of today are far superior to engines of your grandpa's time.
ALL motorcycle engines should be able to go over 100,000 miles easily.
And what oil filter you use will not have much affect on that life as long as you change the oil as recommended.
My previous 5 cars went to almost 200,000 miles and I used Fram filters for most of the oil changes!
They also ran as new up to the time I got rid of them!
