So alot of mods are popping up for the Rebel just about everyday now.
But I have yet to see someone actually mounting a dual headlight on it!
And I'm being kinda teased with the thought of doing a dual headlight mod for it.
But where to start?!
I've gone through ebay without much luck in search for a dual light..
And then it's the issue with all the wiring inside the stock housing, what to do with that mess...

So do anyone have a good idea as to how one would/should proceed with something like this?

I think it's totally doable, and would probably look pretty bitchin'.

Maybe something like this would work?
Dual Motorcycle Headlight With 28mm - 34mm Holder Brackets For Harley Davision
Mounts to the forks. You'll have to do some measuring. Also wiring wight be tricky. I don't know much about that. I have heard that there is a ton of wiring stuffed in the OEM headlight bucket.

Keep us posted on your progress.

Uuh, now would you look at that!
Bah, that's the thing I hate about ebay thou... We all know you can find just about anything there, but the freaking problem is actually finding it! For me ebay is just.. rubbish to navigate in terms of searching for things. Unless you know an exact name or such. If not, it's like finding a needle in the freaking ocean!

But that didn't look too shabby thou.
And wiring is no problem, I'm rock solid on those terms.
And yeah, there's one guy in here who changed the stock light with another one and ended up with a slight problem of what to do with all the wiring that was behind the stock casing. He zip tied it behind the new one until another option became viable.
So that's kinda my main concearn I suppose..
Can't have any connectors hanging about out in the wether, so they have to get back inside something!

This is just a playfull thought at the moment, so no mod on this in the near future. Unless I once again find myself being impulsive... *sigh* Who knows.

Here's what it might look like. I whipped it up in photoshop for you real quick.
Well ain't you a little angle <3 lol!

But yeah, that doesn't look too bad at all!
Slap that on my bike with the bar end mirrors, and tidy up those big blinkers, I think that might just be a badass look on the girl :grin2:
