I just installed mine last week, what helps is making sure the bracket you fasten under the speedo is held flat while lining up the screws.
Get another person to hold the bracket flat to the bar mounts then line up speedo holes to those while you line up the holes on the fairing. Too much fiddling around for one person i found. I couldn't keep the mount lined up while trying to line up all the other holes.

Hope this helps

I've got the same fairing. It takes a huge amount of manipulation and patience and even after all that it wouldn't line up perfectly. I didn't tighten anything beyond a couple of rotations while offering it up. Found that to be the best approach. Don't be afraid to use some strength either when lining up the holes with the threads underneath the instrument cluster.

Mine had some terrible thread in it so I ended up re-threading a couple of holes with a tap and die set. That helped as I changed the angle of the hole slightly to better align things.
