I found similar design for the CMX1100 from GEM Speed in the meantime.......
That does fit.
That one sounds really nice.

Just not sure about the sound level.
That could be a bit higher thdn what I am aiming for.

Searching through websites,

It looks like this model exhaust is the same as the first one, I mentioned,
so likely once made for the 500.
All those exhaust are offered for the 1100 too.
They just include an extension bracket for the eyelet, to reach the suspension point at the passenger foot peg.
Works too, just not as nice as could have been.

I found Kawasaki exhaust fit my 25 1100 also ebay has some reasonably priced ones

 

Do you know which Kawasaki model and can you post some pictures? And how is the sound level?

 

With a universal mid pipe, you could fit whatever 2" slip-on you want.

This is sold by the chinese for the Rebel 300/500.
They also sell a complete header set in stainless for the 1100.
And also for the 500
And a lot of slip-on mufflers too.

I would like someone to remove about 1/3 from the center and weld it back together. I wonder if that would work for a quiet shorter muffler.?
