So i ended up pulling the trigger last night on the silver 500 ABS model, mid-life crisis purchase?!?!

Will be getting it sometime this weekend if all goes to plan

Anybody have any suggestions for kits to replace the ugly tail light?

I've only seen one tail light replaced so far, but it left the old mount exposed... still waiting on something "cleaner" to hit the market.

Think we have a few people from Toronto here on this board as well! Congratulations on the purchase though, and the tail light is definitely ugly haha. What other bikes have you had before though?

This is actually my first bike. I have always wanted one but never had the money when I was younger, now I have come to the realization that buying a house in Toronto is not very attainable at the moment in the given market. So I decided to have some fun while i wait for the market to turn around to a more reasonable level haha

Welcome! Im also in the GTA and picked my Rebel 500 ABS Matte Silver up on Monday - put 150km on it so far. Loving every bit I've been wondering how to relocate the lights and lic plate holder if i replace the rear fender with something super short
