Welcome.

How are you liking power throughout the RPM range?
I heard from some people that even the 500 can be improved which already makes me concerned about the 300. In for hearing your input.
I can't say anything on the 500, never ridden it, but the 300 power wise... if your in town or city, its perfect. Your changing gears allot but she picks up and goes just fine. Don't know if that helps. lol.

Welcome to the forums and congratulations! 1200 miles already, darn you're really enjoying it! Getting close to first service time?
Yes enjoying very much!! I did take it in for the first service at 600 miles. The dealer was surprised to see me so soon. LOL. I have a tendency to add more miles than the average rider in a car or on a bike.

I really like the 500. Glad I opted for this one and not the 300. I do a LOT (75% of my commute) of highway driving and this 500 does very well. I have a lot of confidence in its ability to get me out of a tough spot of needed. I also have Can Am Spyder F3s with a 1100cc, so I am very spoiled by the power of my Spyder. However, the Rebel is satisfying.

Besides, I'm not ready for a 1200cc two wheeler yet, lol.
