Just got my 600 mile service done last week. Prior to that I hadn't done any highway riding, just urban.

This morning I took the 110 express highway in LA. I'm pretty impressed with the 300. I was worried I wouldn't be able to keep up, but I was cruising around the 70s for majority of my ride. I can definitely see an upgrade in a year or two, but this bike is solid:grin2:

Glad to hear it performs on the highway, as that's been an area of concern for me. I plan on mostly using it for commuting around the city, but I'm glad to know there wont be any issues if I have the need to ride it elsewhere. A couple people have suggested to go with the 500 instead, but I don't think that's necessary as I can always upgrade down the line.

Your experience mirrors mine, I'm very happy with the 300 and it handles highways with relative ease, but I can definitely see myself on something larger in a couple years.

When I had my Rebel 250 it spent time on the freeway with no problem. You're not going to spend a whole lot of time in the car pool lane but mine kept up nicely at 70mph. I would assume that the 300 would be a similar experience.

what camera are you using? I am looking for a good one. The action cams I have are lousy at high speeds
Now I use the hero session 4. That rebel 250 video was 6 years ago and I don’t remember what I was using. Maybe just a regular maybe just a regular hero or hero 2.
