Hi all. Looking forward to learning from you all about the different things you've done to modify your Rebels to suit your personal tastes. here are a few pics of my bike. A work in progress.

Hello Modmaster
Could you give a short review of your "Hepko Becker backrest" ?
Is it close enough to your back to be usefull?
Does the custom seat change how the backrest works? Meaning is the size and location of the custom seat close to the size and location of the original Honda seat?
Thanks
Dan

Hepco&Becker back rest

Sure DanBad. This as an extremely well engineered and good fitting unit. Once bolted on it is solid as a rock and I would have to say it is exactly where I want it. The thing is everyone doesn't sit on their bike the same way. For me, I sit towards the back. The pad is just firm enough to feel support but not to hard. When I had my seat modified by a local upholsterer he added 2" of very firm foam on top of the existing seat foam. But I then cut out the rear portion where my pelvic bones touch the seat about an inch to approximate the look of a Corbin seat, at least to my mind anyway. So that lowered me back down a bit more. I still get quite a bit of benefit from the back rest so I am very happy with my whole set up. The seat mods work very well with my 1" lowered foot pegs and the Triumph T100 handlebars that come back to me about 1 or 2" . My butt is happy, my knees are happy, and my back is happy.
