Hand guards for 500

Anyone put Handguards on their 500? If so, what did you get and how hard were they to put on? My hands (despite gloves) can get cold and every so often I get a rock on a knuckle.

Puffin,

Welcome to The Forum
Ride Safe & Keep The Shiny Side Up

I have inexpensive hand guards from Amazon that I use over the winter months. They do a very good job of keeping my hands warm with just light gloves.

You will have to wait for pics until cold weather gets here for me to take some new pics.

It will take less than 5 minutes to assemble each handguard and another 5 minutes each to install the hand guards..

You remove the mirrors and place the handguard bracket where the mirror attaches and reinstall the handguard. It is very easy...

Slick! I'll have to pick a pair up. Last year was my first one to daily ride through winter. Temps regularly 18-26 F and I quickly learned some valuable lessons. Grip heaters, leather, layers... Neck gaiter!!
