Changing the sprocket & speedometer

Hey guys, just wanted to clarify that if I change the sprocket ie. adding a tooth.. My 500 abs won't be off in terms of speed reading right? I heard mixed comments on whether or not the ABS models are affected by changing the sprockets so just wanted to double check.

Thanks

ABS works by sensing when the wheel has stopped turning and letting up on the brake pressure momentarily to allow it to regain traction. Changing a sprocket will have no effect on ABS.
