Removed wrong headlight screw and now have spring problem

33108-MM2-003 = Headache to put back in

I went too quickly and it was my first time changing bulb in headlight. I took out the wrong screw when I started and can't get the stinkin' spring to fit back to where it belongs. Has anyone else ever dealt with getting this spring back in place? Thank you for any help you can provide.

The good news is, my new bulb works great and the cost was less than $10. 🙂

Having done the same thing on a CB500X: IIRC, I put the spring back on but did not tighten the screw completely, then I installed the bulb moving the spring back over the bulb, and then fully tightened the screw holding the spring.

P.S. I'm old (77 next month) and do not ride a lot at night. I simply got a generic H4 bulb with the same wattage at the auto parts store; it was easy to align and seems OK at night.
